Kelly Lorraine Williams
I grew up in a small town in Eastern North Carolina. I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies.
I fancy myself a woman of variety, so while I was raised breathing salt air, I wanted a breath of the Rockies too. I took a vacation to Denver in November of 2010, and lived here by February. After a mere few hours in mile-high I knew I was home. Graphic design was the very first love of my life, and Denver was the second.
My 13 year design career started with nightclub flyer design and continued on to logos, image retouching and restoration, signage and vehicle wrap design and installation, pre-press, commercial and residential real estate signage, print advertising and vector portraits.
I love to tell stories in an array of mediums and I'll get mine (and my mother's) into a novel some day. For the past four years I've spent most of my time in the print advertising sector designing ads and overseeing art for TheHomeMag, America's #1 Home Improvement Magazine, analyzing the target demographic- their average age, income and spending habits, and their responses to my creations, channeling my expertise into generating leads for Home Improvement companies all across Colorado. I help local businesses grow, which brings me tremendous joy.
I exhibit my vector portraits from time to time, and currently have prints of my Summer 2016 series Two-Faced, on sale at Blush & Blu in Denver. I am constantly creating, so follow me on Instagram for updates on my art shows, art sales, and to see what's inspiring me as of late.
